Green Panel update

The Green Panel for settle held their most recent meeting on Tuesday, 28 November as part of their quarterly meetups.

The panel is made up of residents who work with settle on their programme to make homes more energy efficient and ensure they’re working to achieve their sustainability goals.

They were also joined by new panel member Rebecca – Chloe and Doina from Wates also attended the meeting.

Wates are working with settle to deliver their energy efficiency social housing decarbonisation fund programme and bring 677 homes up to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating C.

Wates’ Resident Liaison Officer, Chloe and Divisional Customer Service Manager, Doina updated the panel on the work they are doing. There was a really valuable discussion with the panel about the best ways to support residents while these works are being carried out in homes, along with advice on improving the content and messages settle uses with tenants.

The next Green Panel meeting will take place in January 2024.

If you would like to join settle’s Green Panel, you can find more information and and application form on their ‘get involved’ page.
